MANUELLE BLANC

As a documentary filmmaker, Manuelle Blanc signs cultural films that testify to her commitment to filming creation in all its diversity: The process of creating a play (Krzysztof Warlikowski – Olivier Cadiot – Ludovic Lagarde – Sophie Perez), highlighting the work of choreographers (Michel Schweizer – Kader Belarbi – Julie Dossavi) or questioning the place of women in the history of art “À la force du pinceau – Objectif femmes” (By means of a brush – Objective women). In 2017, she drew a portrait of the filmmaker Ingmar Bergman through his cult film “Persona”. In 2019, she also directed “36,000 Years of Modern Art” for Folamour, a documentary on the fascination of modern and contemporary artists with prehistoric art.
