Passionate about cinema, Laurent Perrin began his career as assistant director to Richard Fleischer, Raoul Ruiz, Beno\u00eet Jacquot… In the 80s, he directed several short films including “Scopitone”, which he co-wrote with his friend Olivier Assayas. After a brief stint at the Cahiers du Cin\u00e9ma, in 1985, he made his first feature film, “Passage secret” (Secret passage<\/em>), which revealed him as a filmmaker. Two years later, he directed “Buisson ardent” (Burning bush<\/em>)\u00a0and received the Jean Vigo Prize for this film. In parallel to cinema, Laurent Perrin also directed many documentaries for Arte, France 3, La Cinq; including portraits of well-known personalities such as Andr\u00e9 T\u00e9chin\u00e9 or Jorge Semprun… In 1991, he shot “Sushi, Sushi”, a comedy with Andr\u00e9 Dussollier and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois St\u00e9venin. In 2000, he directed the film “30 years” which brought together actors such as Laurent Lucas, Gr\u00e9gori Derang\u00e8re, Anne Brochet, Julie Depardieu, Nathalie Richard, Arielle Dombasle…<\/p>\n

Laurent Perrin died on 8 February 2012 at the age of 56. For Folamour, he directed “Once upon a time…King Kong<\/strong>” in 2010.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>
